Homegrown in Esslingen, Germany I started playing with programming languages and computer  graphics on 8 Bit Atari 800 XLs. Later on Amigas, then SGIs, then Linux boxes. I moved to the U.S. in 1997 and worked, until recently, for a rather big Visual Effects organization in the Bay Area.
