Synopsis (possible Spoiler): Two Turkish anti-terrorist agents are sent to New York City on a mission to find and bring back the dangerous Islamic leader codenamed “Dajjal”, believed to be hiding in there. Working with the FBI and NYPD, the agents orchestrate the arrest of Hadji Gumus, a well-respected Muslim scholar and family man who years before fled to the United States after being released from a Turkish prison, where he served time for murder. This tale love, friendship, peace and prejudices, takes us on a journey seeking to answer the question of whether innocence or guilt even matters to one who lusts for vengeance

Interesting movie, flipping back and forth between Turkey and New York. Good to see there are subtle movies about terrorism.

Synopsis (possible Spoiler): Six years after Earth has suffered an alien invasion a cynical journalist agrees to escort a shaken American tourist through an infected zone in Mexico to the safety of the US border.

Reminded me of District 9 – but in a good way. The VFX were OK, but the movie is a lot more about what you don’t see.

Gesture mapping idea for the new Apple Magic Trackpad

(As usual) with most Apple products the Magic Trackpad did the job fine – but the configuration options are limited with Apple’s OS X driver. I bought JiTouch which offers a lot more options including additional character recognition gestures.

Here what I changed from the excellent defaults:

Characters/All Applications
Up New Tab
Down Close / Close Tab (works in all apps)
Left Shift-Command [ (go to previous directory/tab)
Right Shift-Command ] (go to next directory/tab)

Characters/Safari
/ Up Option-Command F (go to safari’s search box)

I left the Tackpad gesture default
