(Spoiler warning): This film recreates the strange events which happened November 5, 1975 in the town Snowflake, Arizona. Travis Walton works as a logger in the woods. When he and his colleagues drive home after work, they encounter an UFO. For the next five days Travis disappears and his colleagues are accused of murder. When he reappears, first he didn’t remember that he was gone, but in time the terrible memories come back…
It’s really not that bad! OK, it does feel like an overlong episode of The X-Files, however, what makes this interesting is the fact it is based on true events. I didn’t mind the acting, and it seemed to have some budget for VFX and known actors.
Synopsis (possible Spoiler): Six years after Earth has suffered an alien invasion a cynical journalist agrees to escort a shaken American tourist through an infected zone in Mexico to the safety of the US border.
Reminded me of District 9 – but in a good way. The VFX were OK, but the movie is a lot more about what you don’t see.

This is the 70-minutes review. Simply awesome.
Synopsis (possible Spoiler): A psychological thriller in which a deadly virus infects a small Ontario town
Absolutely unexpected! Well worth the price of admission, and, I would guess, not what you expected. Very restrained way of telling an old story. Excellent performance by Stephen McHattie.
